What services do you offer?

FernShadow Studio offers gentle, non-invasive sessions and classes focused on relaxation, emotional balance, and personal insight.

Services include individual Integraged Energy Therapy, Reiki and sound-based sessions, group sound baths, and hands-on classes exploring energy awareness, intuition, and supportive tools such as crystals.

Sessions are available in Little Falls and St. Cloud, Minnesota, with limited remote options by request.

What is Biofield Therapy?

Biofield therapy is a structured, non-invasive approach that works with

how the body holds stress, tension, and emotional patterns.

Rather than focusing only on symptoms, this work supports the nervous

system and helps the body shift out of chronic stress responses that

can contribute to:

  • persistent pain or tension

  • anxiety and overwhelm

  • grief and emotional strain

  • fatigue or difficulty fully relaxing

Many clients report improvements in physical comfort, sleep, and emotional stability after sessions.

What techniques do you use?

I am a Master Instructor in Integrated Energy Therapy and Reiki, Life Coach,and hold more than 3 dozen other certifications. I draw from multiple established approaches depending on your needs.

Sessions may include:

  • Integrated Energy Therapy (IET): focuses on releasing stored emotional patterns and supporting the body’s stress response

  • Reiki: supports physical relaxation and nervous system regulation

  • Discussion of findings and potential recommendations or "tools for your toolbox."

  • Sound-based techniques and guided processes to deepen relaxation and support integration

Each session is individualized—based on what your body is presenting that day.

Can this help with anxiety, trauma or chronic pain?

Yes—many clients seek this work specifically for anxiety, stress-related symptoms, and ongoing physical discomfort.

By working directly with the body’s stress response and stored tension patterns, sessions can help:

  • reduce physical pain and tightness

  • calm the nervous system

  • improve sleep and recovery

  • support emotional processing

This approach does not replace medical care but is often used alongside it to address underlying patterns that may not be fully resolved through other methods.

Is this work religious or does it conflict with my beliefs?

No. This work is not tied to any specific religion or belief system.

It focuses on supporting the body’s natural ability to regulate, process stress, and restore balance. Clients of many different backgrounds—including those with strong faith traditions—find this work complementary to their personal beliefs.

It doesn't even require a belief in energy work. Many clients come simply seeking relaxation or support during a stressful time. Sessions are designed to be calming and supportive regardless of belief system.

What happens during a biofield therapy session?

You’ll remain fully clothed and comfortable, either lying on a table or seated in a chair. I assess areas where the body is holding tension or imbalance and work with those patterns to support release and regulation.

We’ll briefly check in before the session and allow time afterward for questions or reflection. Sessions typically last 90 minutes to two hours.

How might I feel afterward?

People often report feeling relaxed, grounded, clearer, or emotionally lighter. Some notice subtle shifts over time rather than immediate changes. There is no “right” or expected experience.

Can energy or sound-based sessions help with stress or anxiety?

Many clients find these sessions supportive during times of stress, anxiety, or emotional overwhelm, as they encourage deep relaxation and nervous system regulation.

These services are complementary and not intended to replace medical or mental health care.

Are your services safe for sensitive individuals or those with health concerns?

Yes. Sessions are gentle, non-invasive, and always guided by consent and comfort. I have extensive experience working with sensitive clients and adapt sessions as needed. If you have specific concerns, you’re welcome to reach out before booking.

What should I bring to my session or class?

For sessions, wear comfortable clothing and come as you are. For classes or sound baths, you may wish to bring a journal, water bottle, and comfort items such as a mat or blanket. Any specific needs will be shared in advance.

Do you offer remote sessions?

Yes. Remote sessions are available by phone or video and follow a similar structure to in-person work, focusing on stress patterns, emotional processing, and guided techniques.

These sessions are especially helpful for clients who:

  • live at a distance

  • prefer working from home

  • are looking for ongoing support between in-person visits

What types of classes do you teach?

I offer training in energy-based modalities, intuitive development, and the practical use of tools such as crystals, pendulums, and sound instruments.

The Crystal Wisdom & Intention Card Deck blends practical information with intuitive insight. Each card features a crystal or stone with guidance on identification, care, energetic qualities, and a suggested intention. The deck is designed to support both learning and personal reflection.

What happens during a sound bath?

During a sound bath, you rest comfortably while the sound and vibration help guide the body into a deeply relaxed state, which can support nervous system regulation, emotional release, and physical relaxation. Sessions may include gentle guidance or themes, but participation is always optional.

People experience sound baths in different ways — from deep rest to emotional release or quiet stillness.
