What is a Sound Bath

Sound baths, also known as sound therapy and vibrational healling, are an ancient wellness practice dating back thousands of years and has been link to stress and anxiety reduction.  During a sound bath, you are "bathed" in the healing sounds of crystal singing bowls, chimes, drum and gong.  Sound travels through water 4 times faster than through air, and since our bodies are mostly composed of water, many believe that sound helps us recalibrate.

Comfort is key to this experience.  Dress in layers.  Mats, bolsters, blankets may be available to borrow based on location, but we recommend that you bring your comfort items (thick mat, pillows or even a sleeping bag, if you like).  Sound baths can be experienced either seated or lying down on the floor.  Properly hydrate prior to your arrival, as a well-hydrated body is a better conductor of vibration and frequency.
